I had a very interesting and robust conversation with Kelsey. She early on identified that while she has a degree in business psychology she had identified Medtech as an area of specific interest and pursuit jobs along those lines.
During her time in college and in her internships, she has worked with a number of teams, and apparently has had significant roles in leading such teams and expressed a desire to work in a collaborative environment. Where she would get to know her teammates.
She indicated that she likes a structured environment to an extent but enjoys flexibility and really enjoys or longs for or wants to pursue an area of work that allows her to the flexibility to own an execute on different projects so in other words she likes she likes the flexibility of being independent in her work
She’s very initiating. She started a newsletter for projects at one of her internships that was apparently very significant in terms of keeping the projects on point and on deadline. She was interested to know what her future career would look like at ddp and was asking about the tech versus the management career path. And after talking with her, I felt sure that she would be wanting to pursue the management aspect as she did say, she likes the idea of managing others. Sh She also indicated that she enjoys working in an environment word that trust for other people with other people as fast developing
And is very comfortable with remote work style, but indicated that she does want to stay close and close touch with teams so that she feels a part of she indicated that she picked up on the camaraderie that seems to exist at ddp and value that highly she asked about eventual client facing work, even as she mentioned that she does love strategy and research opportunities. Interestingly, when I asked her who she most enjoyed talking with us so far at ddp she said she’s singled out Sara and Will. She’s a very inquisitive girl and would be quite assertive in the workplace.
She has a lot of ideas that she wants to make sure she finds a home for, and I assured her that her ideas would be welcome to the extent that she adheres to her training and gets in sync quickly as quickly as she can with her actual work
She’s currently not looking at a job with any other organization
