Greetings, All –

In preparation for our next call, the below is the outline of topics we
will attempt to cover in the hour.
Please study these points and be prepared to fully participate bringing
your experience, examples and
questions/concerns as they relate to your roles as management
representatives.

AGENDA

As managers, you face a wide range of challenges as you learn to balance
organizational and personal goals with the needs of your reporting staff
members.
Among the primary points of address you will want to be fully engaged
with your staff members and hold their performance and career goals
uppermost as part of your management function.

Equally important is to be always aware of the fact that you lead by
positive, solution-oriented example while
maintaining a respectful distance in recognition of the necessary
separation from colleagues/friends to reports.

In this session we will be discussing some key principles of good
management including:

Balancing different communication styles, work habits, and
expectations.
Coaching team members and identifying training opportunities.
Preparing future managers while maintaining day-to-day
productivity.
Resolving conflicts before they affect team performance.
Keeping employees informed and aligned with transparency and
consistency.
Avoiding misunderstandings and ensuring clear expectations.
Maintaining morale especially during busy or stressful periods.
Recognizing achievements and fostering a positive work environment.
Balancing meetings, administrative tasks, and strategic planning.
Helping the team focus on high-priority work.
Leading employees positively through organizational changes, new
technologies, or policy updates.
Addressing uncertainty and resistance.
Setting clear expectations.
Providing regular feedback and addressing under performance fairly
and consistently.
This is a lot to cover but whatever we do not complete will be
covered in our next session,

ZOOM invitation will be sent next Tuesday,

Looking forward to a robust, fully participatory session,

Best,
J.
